​Julie has 24 years experience in orthopaedics and sports medicine. She is Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) I and II certified, McKenzie Part A certified, a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Alabama Physical Therapy Association, and Florida Physical Therapy Association and is also a YMCA of Northwest Florida Advisory Council member.

“I enjoy helping people better understand how our neurological, cardiovascular, and musculoskeletal systems work and what actions to take to improve how their body moves and overall health and well-being. This includes incorporating healthy eating, exercise, rest, and recovery habits into our daily routines.”

Julie educates patients on their diagnosis and provides intervention to reduce pain and restore mobility and function. Whether someone is recovering from surgery, injury, or wants to live an active life despite having a disability, she will work with them to create an individualized plan to achieve their goals and live well.
