About Debbie

Debbie has been a practicing physical therapist for over 37 years, earning her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy Summa Cum Laude from the University of South Alabama in 1979. She later achieved her Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) designation in 2005 and is certified in dry needling, and is a long-standing member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Her path to physical therapy was rooted in a lifelong love of movement — participating in the President's Physical Fitness Program as a child and winning awards along the way. That early passion grew into a fascination with the human body and its capabilities, combined with a genuine desire to help people. Over her career, she has developed deep expertise in outpatient orthopaedics, sports medicine, functional manual therapy, acute pain management, and sports and work-related injuries.

Today, Debbie channels that clinical depth into developing the next generation of therapists and leading teams across the practice. Her motivation remains unchanged: "I love the prospect of helping people from all walks of life to recover and return to their favorite activities and their lives. That is the greatest reward."
