Job description

This Isn’t Just Another PTA Job. It’s the Career You’ve Been Hoping For.
You walk into the clinic on a crisp Alabama morning, coffee in hand, greeted by a team that knows your name and values what you bring to the table. Your day starts with a patient rebuilding strength after surgery, someone you’ve been working with for weeks, watching progress unfold one step at a time. Later, you guide a new mom through functional movements that help her get back to life with confidence. You’re not rushing. You’re not just filling a time slot. You’re making a real impact, because this is HealthActions Physical Therapy in Monroeville, and here, PTAs are seen as professionals, not assistants to be overlooked.

Where Your Role Isn’t Just Respected, It’s Essential

Since 1981, we’ve been helping people across Alabama move better, feel better, and live better. At our Monroeville clinic, that mission comes to life daily through personalized care, a strong team culture, and a deep respect for every treatment team member.

As a PTA here, you won’t just “follow through” on a plan. You’ll collaborate, problem-solve, and lead patients through meaningful sessions because we trust you and know your role is vital to outcomes.

Why PTAs Choose HealthActions

You’ll work one-on-one with patients in a calm, focused setting, with no double-booking, production pressure, or burnt-out team dynamics. Instead, you’ll have:

  • Supportive Physical Therapists who believe in shared success
  • Autonomy in how you deliver sessions
  • A culture of mentorship that lifts everyone up

If you’re a new grad, this is the perfect place to build confidence with real mentorship.
If you’re experienced, it’s where your skills are trusted and your input truly matters.
