Alex believes that movement is an essential part of life and a cornerstone of overall health and well-being. Every individual’s fitness journey is unique, shaped by their personal goals, experiences, and abilities. My philosophy centers on helping people discover forms of movement that bring them joy and confidence because consistency and enjoyment are key to lifelong health.
“As a physical therapist, I will approach every patient with a patient-first mindset. I believe in meeting people where they are and prioritizing the goals that matter most to them. Whether that’s returning to sport, work, or simply moving without pain, my focus will be on creating individualized treatment plans that align with each patient’s unique aspirations, while also celebrating the progress they make along the way. By emphasizing both short-term achievements and long-term outcomes, I aim to empower my patients to take an active role in their recovery and regain confidence in their movement.”
In his spare time, Alex enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and son, as well as swimming for both fun and relaxation. He is also an avid Auburn football fan!

Hayley enjoys working with all types of patients, including geriatric, orthopedic, sports injuries, pelvic floor, and vestibular, and has advanced training in Active Neuromuscular Release (ANR).
Hayley believes that fitness helps with both the physical and mental aspects of the body. She wants to be her patients’ personal cheerleader/coach when it comes to their goals while also educating them along the way.
“I feel that I can bring a different perspective to each of my patients’ therapy experiences because I am constantly looking for and researching the best ways to treat each of my patients. Not everyone’s body is the same, so I like to change things up to see what works best for that individual.”

Tonye brings to HealthActions Physical Therapy years of public relations experience. She has been the Director of Development for Wiregrass Museum of Art and Troy University, along with Employer Engagement Liaison for Flowers Hospital.
Tonye’s personal experience as a patient is what brought her to the HealthActions team. The approach of treating the whole body made complete sense, and she could see the staff genuinely care for their patients.
One of her favorite parts of being a HealthActions Physician and Community Liaison is watching a patient evolve from their first visit to their discharge and hearing them say they don’t want to go. They love coming to physical therapy!
